RODENT CONTROL — PERTH

Roof rats, house mice — handled with a plan, not a panic.

Rats and mice in the roof void, sub-floor or kitchen are common across Perth's older suburbs. FAB inspects, treats, and follows up — with a written report that explains where they're getting in and how to keep them out.

WHY IT MATTERS IN PERTH

Perth's wet, cooler months push rodents indoors.

Roof rats and house mice migrate into Perth roof voids and sub-floors from autumn through winter, then breed as spring food sources expand. Catching the issue early is much cheaper than dealing with damage to wiring, insulation or stored items.

WHAT A FAB RODENT VISIT COVERS
  • Thorough inspection of accessible roof void, sub-floor, kitchen and garage areas.
  • Identification of entry points, runways, droppings and gnaw marks.
  • Targeted treatment using lockable bait stations and tamper-resistant placements where appropriate.
  • Discussion of exclusion-first recommendations — sealing entry points so it doesn't repeat.
  • Follow-up visit recommendations for active infestations.
  • Photographed findings and a written report.

FAQS

Common questions.

How do you keep treatments safe around pets and kids?+

Baits go inside lockable tamper-resistant stations placed out of reach. We use APVMA-registered products, applied to label by a licensed technician, and walk you through every placement.

Will one visit fix the problem?+

For light, recent activity often yes. For established populations we plan a short program of visits and ask you to seal identified entry points so the problem doesn't keep returning.

Do you treat just the roof void, or the whole property?+

Both options are available — roof-void-only is common for early activity, and a full-property approach is recommended where we see entry points across multiple areas.

What if there's a dead rodent smell after treatment?+

It can happen for a short period. We discuss expectations up front and offer follow-up advice on ventilation and odour management.
